For many former athletes, life after sports can feel empty.
Sports provide focus, purpose, and huge adrenaline and dopamine highs.
When that comes to an end, it’s easy to feel lost, aimless, and unbalanced. Sometimes when the dopamine deficit hits, people will replace sports with unhealthy habits and coping mechanisms, including drugs, alcohol, gambling, shopping, or other addictions or risky behaviour, which can negatively impact relationships, future opportunities, and your physical and mental wellness.
Once you’re in a rut, it can feel impossible to get out. But it doesn’t have to be that way.
As a former professional snowboarder who suffered from a loss of purpose and alcohol addiction after my career ended, I’m here to tell you that a fulfilling and whole life is possible. Today I live with passion, purpose, and peace—and you can too.
Let’s reset your life so you can start living again.
How it Works: I offer accountability, guidance, and support, while encouraging and empowering you to chart your own course to wellness and build skills that last a lifetime. A health coach is focused on helping you create positive, sustainable change for a longer, healthier life.
Sessions are conducted online through a video call or in-person sessions can be arranged if you live in the Oamaru or Kakanui area, NZ.
How it Works: My fitness philosophy is simple: get fit for “real life”. This lets us set realistic goals for yourself as a whole person and guide you to wellness with our packages.

How it Works: Better team, better results! My workshops offer accountability, guidance, and support, while encouraging your group to chart a positive outcome and plot a course to wellness. This workshop is about action not emails. It’s about empowering your group, slowing down the mind, and learning to reflect in a fast paced world. And, it’s about cultivating “Tūrangawaewae” (a place to stand) in order to be strong and feel connected to our earth and whānau.
Workshops can be facilitated here on the beach and park in Kakanui, NZ, or I can come to your facility within the Oamaru area.
I follow a whole-person approach to health. That means…
A health coach is a professional who works with you to help you take control of your health. They offer accountability, guidance, and support, while encouraging and empowering you to chart your own course to wellness and build skills that last a lifetime. A health coach is focused on helping you create positive, sustainable change for a longer, healthier life.

No, I’m not a therapist, but I’d be happy to refer you to a therapist I trust.
When I turned 45, I reset my whole life. Before that, I was a retired professional snowboarder who felt lost in life. I spent time working on a ship in Australia, moved to Canada, chased after the next dopamine hit, and struggled with alcohol addiction. At 45, I had a realization that I needed to make a change. So, I moved back to my home country of New Zealand, got sober, stayed sober, spent 6 months in the mountains, and now I live in a home near the ocean where I embrace life with a sense of calm, clarity, and peace. While your story might look different than mine, I believe that with the right support, you too can find your balance–whether you’re 45, 25, 95, or any age in between.
Let me show you how we’ll get you there.
